Author Card Software

The Author Card brings your books, social accounts, and the Shareable Wikis of any books you've published together on one public @username page, permanently free on both plans. Every account gets one automatically; publishing it is entirely your choice.

What sections does the Author Card have?

Right below your username sits a fixed About field, followed by Social Media (with platform icons), My Books (a book/cover list you add yourself), My Links (non-brand links like a website), and a Worlds section that automatically lists the Shareable Wikis of any books you've published. You can drag and drop to reorder every section except About.

Do you have to publish your card?

No; every account gets an empty card automatically, but it starts as a draft by default. It only becomes visible to everyone at @username once you choose to publish it, and you can preview your own draft exactly as a visitor would see it beforehand.

How does the Worlds section work?

Once you publish a book's Shareable Wiki, that book becomes eligible to show up in your card's Worlds section automatically. You can hide this section on your card entirely if you want; that doesn't turn off the book's Wiki, it only hides its showcase on the card, since the two settings are completely independent.

How do you customize its appearance?

You can add a profile photo, a cover photo (choosing its vertical focus point from three options), an accent color, and a short tagline; if you skip the cover photo, a solid background generated from your accent color is used instead. You can also generate a plain QR code to share your card.

Is the Author Card a paid feature?

No; the Author Card is permanently free on both plans and isn't subject to any limit.

Does my Author Card show the actual content of my books (characters, locations, etc.)?

No; the card itself only shows showcase information like a book's title and cover. A book's actual world content only becomes visible if you separately publish that book's Shareable Wiki.

Can I change my username later?

Yes; you can change your username from Settings. Your old username becomes available right after the change, and another user can claim it.
