    Drag to Reorder Fields and Relationships

    You can now drag and drop a character's (or any other record's) field rows and relationships into the order you want. The order you save becomes permanent for that one record.

    • Drag and drop to reorder fields and relationships
    • The order you pick only applies to that one record, never your field template or other records
    • The order you save shows up exactly the same way on the detail page

    The Dashboard Now Speaks 15 Languages

    You can now use the yazar.io dashboard in 13 new languages alongside Turkish and English: Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Polish, Dutch, Swedish, and Czech.

    • Switch languages with one tap from the Settings page; your choice is saved to your account
    • The mobile app (iPhone/iPad) supports the same 15 languages, kept in sync with web
    • Your book addresses (URLs) stay the same no matter which language you pick
    • The website itself (public pages like Guides/FAQ) stays Turkish/English for now

    Publishable Wiki

    You can now publish your books as a public, read-only wiki - one toggle in Book Settings puts it live at yazar.io/@username/book-slug.

    • Characters, locations, lore, and 7 other sections become public - Notes are never included
    • Published books automatically show up in a new "My Worlds" section on your Author Card, which you can hide or reorder
    • Public wiki pages now support a light/dark theme toggle
    • Turning it off makes every page and image instantly inaccessible

    Your Content Is Now Stored Encrypted

    We strengthened how your private content on yazar.io is protected. Sensitive content in your books is now encrypted at the application level, and the encryption keys are managed by a separate, secure key management system.

    • Private content is stored in encrypted form
    • Encryption keys are managed separately from your content
    • Decryption happens securely on the server whenever content is used
    • Your existing workflow stays exactly the same

    Change Your Email Address Securely

    You can now change the email address linked to your account from Settings. The new address takes effect once you confirm the verification link sent to it.

    • Google sign-in stays unaffected for accounts using it

    Link Entities with @

    You can now link your characters, locations, and other entities directly in your text by typing @.

    • Instant search and suggestions as soon as you type @
    • Typing an entity's name is still enough, it links itself automatically
    • Every existing link kept working exactly as before

    Remove an Entity's Image

    You can now remove an image you uploaded for a character, location, or any other entity through a confirmation dialog.

    • A confirmation step protects against accidental removal
    • If you leave without saving, your existing image stays untouched

    Yazar.io now has two clear plans: Yazar (free) and Yazar Pro.

    • Glossary, Timeline, Notes, and Author Card stay unlimited on both plans

    Deleted Books Can Now Be Restored

    Removing a book from your library no longer deletes it right away. You can restore it from Deleted Books for at least 30 days.

    New Book Genres

    We expanded the genre options available when creating a new book, so you can start with sections that better match your book's structure.

    Yazar.io is now publicly available at www.yazar.io. Set up your book and start building your characters and world today.

    Password Reset

    If you forget your password, you can request a secure reset link right from the login screen to get back into your account.

    • A "Forgot password" option on the login screen
    • A secure reset link sent by email
    • A secure flow that never reveals whether an account exists

    Secure Account and Data Deletion

    The "Delete Account" button in Settings now actually works. Nothing is deleted until you confirm through a link sent to your email.

    • Your books, characters, notes, and Author Card are permanently deleted after confirmation
    • Changing your password now also sends you a security notification email

    English Language Support

    Yazar.io is now available in English too. Pick your language in Settings and your preference is saved permanently to your account.

    • Your public Author Card page also uses your own language preference
    • Your language is remembered by a cookie even before you sign in

    Story Notebook (Notes Redesigned)

    The Notes section was redesigned from the ground up: type-based filters on the side, a card list in the middle, and a status (Idea, In Progress, Used, and more) on every note.

    • Type into the Quick Note bar and hit Enter to capture a thought in one step
    • A name mentioned in a note links itself to the matching character or location
    • Deleted notes aren't gone for good, you can restore them from Deleted Notes

    Every writer builds their world differently. You can now decide which fields appear by default when creating a new Character, Location, Organization, and more.

    • A separate field template for each section
    • Pick from ready-made fields or create your own custom ones
    • Different field types: text, number, date, choice, checkbox, and relationship
    • Changing a template never affects your existing records

    Quick In-Book Search

    As your world grows, finding a character or page shouldn't get harder. Open quick search anywhere inside your book and jump straight to any record or section.

    • Jump straight to Overview, Notes, Timeline, Family Tree, and Book Settings
    • Shows your most recently edited records when the search is empty

    Records in your fictional world can now connect through real relationships, not just text. Pick a character's organization, family, or birthplace directly from the other records in your book.

    • Parent relationships automatically appear on the Family Tree
