What is a Public Wiki?

The Public Wiki is a feature you can turn on per book, publishing that book's Characters/Locations/Lore and similar sections as a public, read-only page at yazar.io/@username/book-slug. It's off by default.

How is a Public Wiki different from a story bible?

A story bible is a writer's OWN reference document - it doesn't need to be shared with anyone. A Public Wiki is an optional showcase where a writer can, if they choose, share part of that story bible with readers or beta readers - turning it on is never required, and even when it's on, visitors can only read it, not edit it.

Which sections become public?

Characters, Locations, Organizations, Lore, Races, Creatures, Items, Spells, Religions, and the Glossary - whichever you have. Notes are never included, under any circumstances; the Family Tree and Timeline aren't included yet either. Scope is per book - you can't pick individual sections or entities.

Is turning on the Public Wiki required?

No, it's entirely optional and off by default. Only you can turn it on from Book Settings, and you can turn it back off at any time.

Can visitors edit the content?

No - this is a read-only page, not editable by others like a classic wiki. Only the book's owner can change the content.
