What happens to my content if I cancel Yazar Pro?
Canceling your Yazar Pro subscription doesn't delete anything; your books, characters, and every other record stay right where they are. Once you're back on the free plan, only the entities beyond the first 15 per book and type become read-only, not deleted.
Does canceling delete any of my records?
No. Canceling or turning off renewal moves your account back to the free Yazar plan at the end of the current period; no book, character, location, or any other record is ever automatically deleted in the process.
Which records stay editable after moving back to the free plan?
The free plan grants editing rights to 15 entities per book and type, always applied to the oldest 15 records first (ordered by `created_at asc`). The 16th record onward stays viewable, exportable, and deletable, just not editable.
What happens if I upgrade to Pro again?
The moment your account is back on Yazar Pro, every read-only entity becomes fully editable again instantly; there's no permanent lock or manual restore, since the limit is always calculated live from your current record count.
What happens if I delete my 16th character (or 16th record of any type)?
That record is permanently deleted and the next one (the 17th) automatically becomes editable; the limit is always recalculated from your current record count.
Do I lose a read-only record's image or its place in exports?
No; a read-only record keeps showing up in the app, keeps its images, and stays included in book exports. Only your ability to edit its content pauses.
Does this rule apply to the Author Card too?
No; the Author Card stays permanently free and fully functional on both plans and is never subject to this editing lock.
