How do you separate source canon from your own additions?
With Field Templates you add your own profile fields to each record type. For example, add a field called 'Source' to characters and enter values like 'Original' or 'Mine', and note the relevant chapter in a 'Canon reference' field. When you link a record to another record, the link also shows on the other page, so you see who a character is connected to at a glance.
Things to keep in mind when sharing
yazar.io doesn't provide the source universe's content; you only keep your own notes. If you like, you can open your book as a Shareable Wiki; what you share and respecting the source universe's copyright are your responsibility.

What if I write several stories in the same universe?
Each book is a separate workspace; you carry shared information between books by hand, there is no automatic sharing across books right now.
