Can I gift Yazar Pro to a friend?
Yes. You can gift a writer friend one year of Yazar Pro. The gift is a one-time payment, it doesn't renew automatically and it starts as soon as the payment is complete. All the person needs is an existing yazar.io account.
How do I send a gift?
Use the Gift Yazar Pro link on the Settings page to open the gift page. Enter the email address the person uses for their yazar.io account, add a short note if you like, then complete the payment. Gifts can currently be sent from the website.
What does the recipient see?
The gift starts once the payment is complete. The next time the recipient signs in, they see their Yazar Pro access and a gift message showing who it's from, along with your note if you added one. That's why your first and last name need to be filled in under Settings before you send a gift. The recipient uses the gift the same way on the web and in the mobile app.
What happens when the year is up?
The gift lasts one year and doesn't renew automatically; neither you nor the recipient is charged again. When it ends, the recipient's account returns to the free plan. None of their content is deleted; records beyond the free plan's limits stay viewable and exportable.
Can I gift it to someone without an account?
No. The person first needs to create a free yazar.io account; you then send the gift to that account's email address.
Can I gift it to someone who already has Yazar Pro?
No. If the recipient already has active Yazar Pro access, a gift can't be sent. You also can't send a gift to yourself.
Does the gift renew automatically?
No. The one-year gift is a one-time payment and doesn't renew on its own at the end.
