The Dynasty's line appears for the first time. The seven Soulrender weapons are made; their schematics are hidden in the vaults deep in the palace (see The Bügdür Dynasty).
Dede and Azrakh grow up together. They find and memorise six of the seven schematics; the seventh cannot be found. Azrakh secretly destroys the six schematics; as he is about to destroy the weapons too, Dede catches him (see Dede and Azrakh).
Azrakh, the true heir to the throne, makes his first conquest independently of the Dynasty and takes the neighbouring city. The years in this timeline are counted from this moment (see Dede and Azrakh).
Believing a malign spirit has slipped into Azrakh, the Dynasty uses the Soulrender: Sword on him; since there is no malign spirit inside him, Azrakh crosses into the Spirit Realm in his body. Dede too uses a Soulrender on himself, crosses into the Spirit Realm in his body and becomes Azrakh's warden (see Dede and Azrakh).
In the Spirit Realm, Dede hunts malign spirits and imprisons them beside Azrakh; the prison grows over the centuries. As malign spirits grow fewer, entering the Spirit Realm becomes easier and Thoughtwrights grow in number (see Spirit Realm).
Dede encounters the Lock Rune; because of what he goes through, he forgets everything and withdraws to a hidden corner of the Spirit Realm. Azrakh escapes the weakened prison; because he is there in his body, the Spirit Realm casts him out (see Dede and Azrakh).
This time Azrakh is experienced: so that he is not crushed while his head is still small, he does not show himself until he is fully strong.
The malign spirits Dede imprisoned for centuries are set loose in the Spirit Realm.
Through Azrakh, the malign spirits pour into the physical realm as his army; they enter people, animals, plants and fungi and corrupt their bodies.
Azrakh and his army take the first city in the south. The king sets out to hunt Azrakh and calls the whole world to Silberne Terenefim: "This place is safe, and we have room enough for everyone." (see State of the World)
The Dynasty comes to stop Azrakh. Gathering the spirits into his body, Azrakh turns into a larger creature; he destroys the members of the Dynasty who came and the seven Soulrender weapons (see The Bügdür Dynasty).
The south of the world is wholly corrupted; the survivors migrate north.
The last great city falls and the great migration to Silberne Terenefim begins.
Outside the walls of Silberne Terenefim, before the outer gates of Emmerâ, the first Göçek camps are set up. The gates are not opened to them (see Göçek Camps).
The youngest son of the House of Order enters Ryâdie; the king gives him the seventh Soulrender schematic he found deep in the palace. The child hands the schematic to his sister; his tattoos are scrambled, he is cast outside the walls, and the resistance leader takes him under their protection (see Main Story).
The sister makes contact with the resistance leader; she supplies the resistance with provisions and information and, in return, asks for her brother's safety (see Main Story).
The sister and the resistance leader realise that the schematic belongs to a weapon.
It becomes clear that no one within the walls can forge the weapon; they decide to take the schematic into the outside world and look for a craftsman.
The schematic of the seventh Soulrender is carried outside the walls. Azrakh senses that the schematic has left the city; on the first day of the story the first great raid on the camps takes place (see Main Story).
