Which languages does yazar.io support?
You can use the yazar.io dashboard (the panel where you organize your books) in 15 languages: Turkish, English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Polish, Dutch, Swedish, and Czech. You can switch languages from the Settings page; your book addresses (URLs) stay the same no matter which language you pick.
15 languages supported in the dashboard
The dashboard, where you create and edit your books, is available in 15 languages: Turkish, English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Polish, Dutch, Swedish, and Czech. You can change it anytime from the Language section on the Settings page; your choice is saved to your account, so you see the same language again the next time you sign in.
The mobile app (iPhone/iPad) supports the exact same 15 languages the same way; your language preference syncs between web and mobile through your account.
Why is the website itself only Turkish and English?
Public content pages like Guides, FAQ, and Glossary (and the landing page itself) are currently written only in Turkish and English. If your dashboard language is set to any of the other 13 and you navigate to one of these pages, you'll see the English version; this only affects which version of THAT page you see, it never changes your dashboard preference — when you go back to the dashboard, your chosen language (Spanish, say) is exactly as you left it.
How is the language decided on the Shareable Wiki?
When you publish a book as a Shareable Wiki, the page's interface language follows the BOOK OWNER's dashboard language preference, not the visitor's; whichever of the 15 languages you've chosen, the Wiki page shows up in that language too.
How do I change my dashboard language?
Pick one of the 15 languages from the Language section on the Settings page; the change applies instantly and is saved to your account.
If I change my language, does my book's own content (character names, text) get translated too?
No. The language setting only affects the interface (menus, buttons, labels); the character/location names, descriptions, and notes you've written yourself are never automatically translated or altered.
Does my book's address (URL) change depending on which language I pick?
Every language other than Turkish uses the same English URL structure (e.g. /book instead of /kitap); switching between Turkish and any other language updates the address accordingly, but any link you've already shared keeps working.
Are pages like Guides/FAQ also available in all 15 languages?
No, these public content pages are currently Turkish and English only. If your dashboard language isn't Turkish, you'll see these pages in English; your own language preference is preserved exactly when you return to the dashboard.
